About

     R.C. Chizhov grew up in India and moved to New York in 2005 to pursue her higher education at Columbia University. She spent fourteen years as an investment banker before realizing her childhood dream of being an author. R.C. now lives in Florida writing humorous and heart-tugging stories, where anything is possible. Her picture books, The Lion in Your Heart and Emu Town Stories have won several awards and accolades.

 

      When she's not story-making, you can find her curled up with a book, solving jigsaw puzzles, hiking, or by the beach. She's a member of SCBWI and Making Room for Rhyme.
