Winner of the Word Editor Mentorship

I woke up to some amazing news today! I won the 2024 Word Editor Mentorship with the wonderful TJ Ohler at Zando.

The Word for Diversity mentorship program is an incredible initiative that supports writers from underrepresented backgrounds, helping us grow our skills and amplify voices that need to be heard. Being chosen for this program is such an honor, and I can’t wait to dive in.

What does this mean?

It means I’ll get to work with my amazing mentor, TJ Ohler at Zando, on my submission—an informational fiction picture book based in India (shhh that's all I can say for now!)
